To extend our Fourth of July holiday we spent this past Monday at Indian Lake. We enjoyed several hours of swimming and of the SUN! We thought we were being careful, but the sun still got us. We didn't realize the damage until we got home. Both Clara & Clayton had little pink cheeks and noses. I told Trevor, "I feel so bad that I let the kids get sunburned" to which he replied, "The kids!?! I can't believe you let ME get sunburned!" That's when I realized he has lots of places where the sun doesn't normally shine, and on this fateful day 75% of those places turned bright red. Sorry honey - but I hope the pain is worth all the smiles you brought the kids that day.
